Thank you for visiting my page! I am grateful that you have taken time out of your crazy day to read my work. First, let me introduce myself and explain how I got here. My name is Stacy and last May (2018) I graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelors degree in business administration and a minor in English. I have a full time career in business that I truly love, but I felt that I was not reaching my full potential. While I was in college pursuing my English minor, numerous people told me that I had a gift for writing and I should do something to share it. Recently, I started feeling a “nudging” that I needed to find a way to utilize this gift I’ve been given, and it should glorify and honor God for bestowing it on me. I just had no idea what to do.
When I graduated from high school and my parish’s religious education program, I realized that my continuing faith education and my spirituality were now totally in my hands. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I did not put forth the effort to learn about, and get to know God the way I should have during those formative years; I simply was just going through the motions of Sunday mass and Wednesday night religion class. So how was my lukewarm faith ever going to provide a basis for me to glorify God through my writing?
Upon graduating from college and gaining a smidge more free time, I started reading books about my faith, God’s love for us, and amazing people who experienced the hand of God at work in their lives. With each book I read, I started to feel a deeper relationship forming between myself and God. Then, one night I realized what I could do; I could share how I finally took my faith into my own hands, and the transformations it has brought into my life.
My journey is far from over; I experience countless bumps in the road, but I can still look up to the bright blue sky and warm sunshine as I pick myself back up. So, I invite you to check out my posts from the menu above so you can take your faith into your hands and join me on this adventure.
